"Okay,
what the...?" is what I initially asked. After much intense scholarly interpretation
[kidding], I have concluded that the publisher Abril released a series
that was available in Brazil in the '70s, and a Portuguese-exclusive series
in the late '90s.

Verbo series listed below was evidently widely available in both Portugal
and Brazil.
