In late 2004, news broke about one of the most exciting developments in Hardy Boys history: for the first time in over thirty years, the Hardys would star in their own comic series! This new series is awesome for the younger crowd of Hardy fans as well as the young at heart, and for parents looking to share the Hardy Boys with their children.

Each comic "book" is broken down into three comic issues, then collected and issued as one graphic novel (hc or ppb). These volumes are written by Scott Lobdell. Lea Hernandez was the illustrator for the first four, and Daniel Rendon is the current illustrator.

The premiere publication from Papercutz proudly presents the action-packed all-new adventures of Franklin W. Dixon's the Hardy Boys. In a tale torn from today's headlines, Frank and Joe Hardy must recover the Ocean of Osyria, an art treasure recently stolen from a famous Mid-Eastern Art Museum. #2: The Ocean of Osyria Part II
The hunt for the "Ocean of Osyria" is on! Get set for international intrigue and excitement in Part Two (of Three) of the Hardy Boy's most daring adventure yet. Frank and Joe, after making a deal with the mysterious Gray Man, find themselves in the war-ravaged nation of Osyria, along with girlfriends Iola and Callie, attempting to recover that nation's stolen art treasure -- the priceless Ocean of Osyria. But this isn't just another case for the all-American Hardy Boys -- they must find the art treasure to prove their best friend, Chet Morton, is innocent and not an international art thief. But what happens when the real criminals find Joe and Frank first? Free clue: they ain't happy! Twenty-eight pages of fast-paced, full-color action, by superstar writer Scott Lobdell and Lulu Award winning artist Lea Hernandez.
#3: The Ocean of Osyria Part III (Conclusion)
The thrill-packed conclusion to the “Ocean of Osyria” kicks off with Frank, Joe, Callie, and Iola ripping through the dessert in a Humvee pursued by an Apache attack helicopter, and the action doesn’t let up until the big finale! Trapped in a war-torn Osyria, will the Boys from Bayport, even with Interpol’s help, clear their best-friend, Chet Morton, of being the international art thief and return to the United States alive?
#4 Identity Theft Part I
Beginning an all-new direction for the Hardy Boys, reflecting the storylines in the upcoming Simon & Schuster revamped Hardy Boys novels. Who or what is the mysterious organization known as A.T.A.C.? And how are Frank, Joe, and even Fenton Hardy involved? Are the Hardys leaving Bayport forever? How has Laura Hardy’s life changed? Why is Aunt Gertrude acting so strange? Where’s Iola and Callie? Uncover the clues to these questions and more as Frank and Joe take to the skies to crack a diamond-smuggling team of sky-divers and then encounter a young woman whose identity has been stolen – literally! Or at least that’s what a young woman claiming to be Joy Gallagher claims – that another girl is now living her life, with her friends, her family, and in her body! Action, thrills, and lots of mystery!
